Einride is seeking a visionary Head of Software Engineering & Architecture to lead the development of our autonomous transport solutions. You'll drive technical excellence, optimize processes, and scale high-performing teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You will:

  • Define and evolve software architecture aligned with product goals.
  • Implement lean engineering practices to enhance quality and reliability.
  • Oversee autonomous software development, including next-gen advancements.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines and simulation-based verification.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering innovation and technical excellence.
  • Establish agile methodologies, compliance roadmaps, and key performance metrics.

We expect you to have:

  • Extensive leadership experience driving success in high-growth tech environments.
  • Proven experience in autonomous or automotive software development.
  • Proficiency in applicable standards like ISO 26262, ASPICE and functional safety.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English
