Head of Product

Bun is on a mission to make building with JavaScript more productive. Bun is an all-in-one JavaScript runtime, bundler, transpiler, package manager and test runner. We have raised $26 million in funding from prominent VC’s like Kleiner Perkins and Khosla Ventures.

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Product to drive our product strategy and accelerate our growth trajectory. Reporting to and working closely with our CEO Jarred Sumner, you'll shape our product vision while implementing effective growth strategies to expand our market presence.

Responsibilities:

• Own the entire product lifecycle from conception to market
• Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy
• Lead product discovery, user research, and validation activities
• Translate customer insights into actionable product requirements
• Prioritize features and build strategic product roadmaps
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure product and growth success
• Guide the team through rapid iteration cycles based on data insights

Requirements

• Experience with development tools and technical fluency to effectively collaborate with engineering teams
• Proven track record of building and shipping successful products from concept to market
• Entrepreneurial experience as a founder or co-founder of a startup
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience in rapid product iteration and growth experimentation
• Strategic mindset balanced with tactical execution capabilities
