Head of Operations (Fix Term Contract) - Dublin

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Head of Operations to support our General Manager in leading and executing our operational strategy for our Irish market. This pivotal role is essential to the efficient operation of our business, directly influencing growth and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing daily operations, driving performance improvements, and cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders. Considering the GM is based in London you will be the key leader in the Dublin office. You will be instrumental in delivering the Freenow by Lyft vision locally and ensuring operational excellence.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• Jointly shape the Irish strategy with the GM and other key stakeholders. Full ownership and delivery of local operational KPI targets
• Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, and most importantly identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Steer the Marketplace Performance team to effectively balance supply and demand, ensuring optimal service levels.
• Implement and refine operational processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with central operations leadership to ensure alignment and consistency. 
• Maintain strong relationships locally, this will include local regulators, authorities, suppliers, driver groups and partner fleets to ensure compliance and support business goals.
• Develop and retain talent to ensure delivery of business objectives

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• 10 years experience, with at least 5 in leading successful teams. 
• Self-confident and engaging presence, complemented by strong social and interpersonal skills. Equally comfortable communicating to groups of drivers as with commercial partners. 
• Project management skills - can deliver complex projects. 
• An analytical operator who is obsessed with continuous improvement and leveraging AI to achieve operational excellence
• Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty inherent in scaling a technology marketplace
• Understanding of technology-driven marketplaces
• An extensive network in the Irish market segments is preferred
