Head of Credit and Operations

The Head of Credit & Operations will lead the company’s credit management, operational controls, supply chain coordination, and financial risk functions for the Iraq business. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient operational execution, maintaining healthy receivables, optimizing working capital, and supporting sustainable business growth while ensuring compliance with company policies and regional regulations. 

The position requires strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and deep expertise in credit risk management, distribution operations, and stakeholder management within a fast-paced technology distribution environment. 

Requirements

Key Qualifications: 

• Strong expertise in credit risk management, collections, and receivables control. 

• Solid understanding of distribution operations, supply chain processes, and commercial finance. 

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills. 

• Excellent leadership and people management capabilities. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural business environment. 

• High level of integrity, accountability, and problem-solving capability. 

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. 

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. 

• 10–15 years of experience in credit, finance, and operations management roles. 

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within distribution, technology, FMCG, or related industries. 

• Experience managing large customer portfolios and operational teams in emerging markets is preferred. 

• Prior Iraq market experience will be an advantage.
