Head Chef - All Day Dining
Collins King & Associates Limited
Apply to this jobOur central London 5 Star Hotel is looking for a Head Chef for its high volume, all day dining kitchen– we are offering a salary of £60,000
Role Overview
- High Volume Brasserie
- Brigade of 40 Chefs
- Seasonal produce
- All day service
Leading a brigade of 40 chefs and with a team of 10 Sous, we are looking for an experienced Head Chef to act as the leader for our loyal and passionate brigade.
We offer an eclectic menu created on site using seasonal produce. As Head Chef you will be responsible for planning all future menus.
Catering for over 600 covers per day on a regular basis, we require a Head Chef with proven experience in a high quality, high volume brasserie-like kitchen.
Our menus are available all day – service is continuous, from 7am through till 11.30pm without a break – whilst there is a strong team of chefs in place that know the operation well, this is a tough kitchen to manage due to the volume of foot flow.
As Head Chef, your hours will be ‘as and when required’ – whilst there will be an element of trust to manage your time and rotas accordingly, you will be expected to maintain a presence in the kitchen. Reporting directly into our hotel GM and Group Chef, you will be heavily involved in future plans for the kitchen.
Whilst our restaurant is part of a hotel, you will only be responsible for the restaurant – both Pastry and Banqueting have their own teams and separate kitchens.
This Head Chef position represents a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join a highly respected group as we look to push on in 2019
