Job Purpose
Join our Intensive Support Team (IST) to provide specialist psychological support for individuals with learning disabilities during periods of crisis. This role focuses on delivering person-centred interventions that promote independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver intensive, specialist support to clients with increased health needs and their carers.
  • Provide access to clinical expertise during times of crisis, complementing the work of the Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD).
  • Apply evidence-based approaches such as Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Work collaboratively within a small multi-disciplinary team across community settings.
  • Uphold principles of empowerment, least restrictive practice, and skill development for service users.
