Job description

Factory Hardware Automation Leader is part of central factory automation group of Nexperia ATSN. You will be responsible for improving & maintaining connectivity and automation for the factory. You would also contribute to smart manufacturing roadmap in implementing AI operator, Image AI solutions, AI controller selection and implementation for turning the factory in to a centrally controlled smart factory.


What You Need To Do:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Build automation solution involving AI controller, connectivity improvement, SW driven automation of line/ process

· Work with HW automation team in connecting various HW assets – AGV, ARV , ASRS, Smart racks etc.

· Maintain existing SW automation solutions

· Collaborate with central and sustenance engineering – monitor projects , identify requirements, provide assistance as required.

· Scout market for ideas, build collaboration with identified innovation partners, share and ideate with factory engineering / automation teams.

· Monitor and report on project status to management

· Collect business requirements and convert them to IT specification for implementations

· Be the business champion in projects with IT and validate and approve the developed solutions.

· Be the owner of roadmaps for factory automation, ensure smooth adaption of the same.

· Collaborate with data scientists and support adaption and delivery of control algorithms to the line.

III. SKILLS /COMPETENCIES

· 7-10+ years of Experience in working in Semiconductor Back End factories in different roles (operations, SW engineering, Automation)

· Experience in factory automation covering software driven, AI contooler, IOT Controller, Remote command center, SCADA software.

· Experience in working on improving OEE, Yield , implementation of predictive quality , predictive maintenance in Semiconductor factories.

· Proven expertise in stake holder management

· Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement, ideate and solution creation, consensus building in a multi stakeholder environment

· Experience in using quality tools – Lean Six Sigma, DoE and others

· Deep Experience with factory connectivity solutions for various tools and sensor’s – SECS/GEM, TCP/IP , PLC, file based etc

· Deep experience in programming solutions – Python, Pyspark, Microsoft ecosystem around .Net , delta.io, Oracle DB, SQL, SparkQL . Application development and management

· Deep expertise in Remote command center solutions

What You Need To Have:

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

· Experienced in large-scale automation projects

· Enthusiastic, being able to mentor and take diverse teams together

· Pragmatic and solution-oriented, but also cost aware

· Negotiation and presentation skills

· Collaborative with teams as well as vendors and suppliers

· Understanding business requirements, service-oriented attitude

· Excellent command of English

· Very good analytical skills and critical thinking skills
