Your work days are brighter here.

We’re obsessed with making hard work pay off, for our people, our customers, and the world around us. As a Fortune 500 company and a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents, we’re shaping the future of work so teams can reach their potential and focus on what matters most. In return, we’ll give you the trust to take risks, the tools to grow, the skills to develop and the support of a company invested in you for the long haul. So, if you want to inspire a brighter work day for everyone, including yourself, you’ve found a match in Workday, and we hope to be a match for you too.

About the Team

Employees First: You are a mentor at heart. You foster a culture of growth, ensuring our teams feel supported, challenged, and heard.
Customer Service & Integrity: You don't just close deals; you build partnerships. You advocate for the customer’s success even when it requires a difficult conversation.
Innovation & Efficiency: You are never satisfied with the status quo. You constantly hunt for ways to deliver services more effectively.
Profitability & Fun: You understand that a successful business allows us to celebrate our wins. You bring a sense of humor and lightheartedness to the high-stakes world of services.

About the Role

Summary

We are looking for a visionary practitioner, high-energy leader to bridge the gap between "what’s possible" and "what’s delivered." As the head of Professional Services Sales and Delivery for our North America region, you will own the entire services lifecycle—from the initial pitch to the successful handoff.

This isn't a "business as usual" role. We need a strategic leader and practitioner who views Artificial Intelligence not as a buzzword, but as a fundamental tool to revolutionize how we serve our clients.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Scaling

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of service sales executives, consultants, delivery directors and engagement managers.

  • Drive the transition from bespoke services to scalable service products and packages, ensuring we deliver repeatable, innovative value.

  • Own the P&L for the North America Professional Services organization, balancing profitability with long-term customer outcomes.

The AI Transformation

  • Embrace & Evangelize AI: Actively integrate AI into our delivery methodology to reduce manual effort, predict project risks, and accelerate time-to-value.

  • Develop innovative service offerings that help our customers leverage AI within their own ecosystems.

Sales & Delivery Alignment

  • Oversee the "Deal to Delivery" supply chain, ensuring that what Sales promises, Delivery can execute flawlessly.

  • Design and refine optimal handoff protocols between delivery teams and post-deployment/Customer Success teams to ensure zero friction for the client.

People Coaching & Development

Our people are our greatest asset, and your success is measured by theirs.

  • Mentorship & Growth: Actively coach directors and individual contributors, creating clear career pathways from entry-level to senior leadership.

  • Skill Evolution: Lead the charge in upskilling the workforce for the AI era, ensuring every team member is proficient in using modern tools to enhance their roles.

  • Culture of Fun & Integrity: Build a high-performance environment where feedback is candid, wins are celebrated loudly, and ethical standards are never compromised.

Customer Satisfaction & Quality Excellence

We don't just finish projects; we create advocates.

  • Quality Benchmarks: Establish rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) standards for all deployments to ensure "First Time Right" delivery.

  • Outcome-Driven Success: Shift the metric from "project completion" to "customer realization of value," ensuring our services directly solve the client's business problems.

  • Feedback Loops: Implement a continuous feedback loop from customers back into our product and sales teams to drive constant improvement.

About You

  • 10+ years in Professional Services leadership, overseeing both Sales and Delivery.

  • Industry Experience: Expertise in the SaaS environment and selling motion. Experience both in-house and in consulting.

  • Scale: Proven track record of managing multi-regional teams and navigating international markets.

  • Productization: Expertise in "productizing" services—creating tiered packages that optimize customer ROI.

  • Tech Savvy: Deep understanding of the AI landscape and a history of implementing automation in service workflows.

  • Operational Excellence: Master of the "handoff"—experienced in building workflows that bridge Deployment and Support.

  • Cross-functional Influence: Experience closely aligning with subscription and/or license sales team counterparts and within the ecosystem. Is fully integrated in the whole cross-functional process as a part of the product feedback loop and has demonstrated working closely with customer success.

Location: Remote US, with a preference for candidates local to the Bay Area or another major Workday hub.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email
accommodations@workday.com.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!

At Workday, we value our candidates’ privacy and data security.  Workday will never ask candidates to apply to jobs through websites that are not Workday Careers.

Please be aware of sites that may ask for you to input your data in connection with a job posting that appears to be from Workday but is not.

In addition, Workday will never ask candidates to pay a recruiting fee, or pay for consulting or coaching services, in order to apply for a job at Workday.
