Job description

Hi, we’re CompanyCam.

We’re a simple-to-use photo documentation and productivity app for contractors of all commercial and home services industries. Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor’s entire business. We’re committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers.

But don’t let that corporate description fool you—the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them!

The Role

CompanyCam is looking for a Group Product Manager to lead a small team of PMs focused on CompanyCam’s in-app communication and project organization tools. This is a player-coach role: you'll be hands-on with discovery, roadmap prioritization, and delivery while also coaching your direct reports and building shared strategy across your group. Your team is working on one of CompanyCam's most active product areas right now - an in-platform communications hub that helps field crews coordinate with each other and keep homeowners informed on job progress. If you thrive at the intersection of execution and team leadership, and you're energized by building something that makes real work easier for the people doing it, we’d love to talk to you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of 2 Product Managers, fostering their growth while maintaining hands-on involvement in key initiatives
  • Lead discovery efforts to ensure we consistently deliver value for our biggest customers
  • Build and maintain relationships across engineering, data, design, finance, and marketing teams, proactively sharing insights and achieving cross-functional alignment

The Impact You'll Have

At CompanyCam, your work makes a real impact. Whether you're writing code, supporting customers, or designing experiences, your contributions directly shape the product we deliver and the people we serve. We're building something that helps real people solve real problems—and we believe that kind of work is best done by a team that reflects the world around us. In this role, you’ll drive impact by:

  • Drive growth through comprehensive, end-to-end initiatives that span insight generation, experimental design, and cross-functional execution
  • Launch new features, build new mobile and web experiences, craft product briefs, and define success metrics to ensure we know if we’ve hit the mark with our efforts

What You'll Bring

  • You bring 7+ years of product experience, with at least 2 years of team leadership or mentorship experience
  • You have a proven track record of driving business impact through data-driven experimentation, breaking down complex problems with curiosity and analytical rigor
  • You're a strategic thinker who looks around corners, thinking several steps ahead while maintaining an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • You have strong cross-functional collaboration skills, understanding that impact comes from empowering others rather than doing everything yourself
  • You can balance hands-on execution with team leadership, knowing when to dive deep and when to delegate
  • Your background reflects a blend of analytical depth and product vision – whether you were a data analyst who wanted to build products or a product person with a passion for data
  • You take an AI-forward approach to work, using it as a force multiplier to help you tackle harder problems
  • A continuous growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
  • A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.

Bonus Points

  • You're familiar with and have used the set of practices outlined in Continuous Discovery Habits by Teresa Torres
  • You've spent some portion of your career developing solutions for in-platform communications
  • Experience in the construction or contractor industry

About The Product Team

We have four principles:

  1. Holistic thinking: We know that nothing exists in a silo at a team, discipline, or feature level
  2. Proactive collaboration: We build context together and encourage synchronous, streamlined work from our colleagues and diversity in problem-solving
  3. Data-driven decision-making: We use first principles and are skeptical so we can get to the right answer to deliver value quickly
  4. Disciplined prioritization: We substantiate the size of the opportunity we're pursuing, ensuring it connects back to the squad’s outcomes and the business’s strategy
