Job Description :

PivotRoots, a Havas Company, is looking for a strategic and business-focused Group Head – SEO to lead and scale our SEO practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the overall SEO vision, managing enterprise-level client relationships, mentoring high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable organic growth across multiple brands. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and leadership to deliver best-in-class SEO solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute enterprise SEO strategies aligned with business goals.

• Drive innovation by adopting emerging search trends, AI, and GEO best practices.

2. Client Leadership

• Lead strategic discussions with enterprise clients and provide data-driven recommendations.

• Build strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.

3. Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing SEO team.

• Foster collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

4. Technical & Content SEO

• Oversee technical SEO audits, website optimization, and SEO implementation.

• Ensure adherence to technical, on-page, and off-page SEO best practices.

5. Performance & Analytics

• Monitor SEO performance, define KPIs, and optimize campaigns using data and insights.

• Present performance reports and business impact to clients and stakeholders.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with Content, Analytics, Paid Media, and Development teams to deliver integrated digital strategies.

• Evaluate and implement new SEO tools, technologies, and automation opportunities.
   

Qualifications & Experience:

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, including Technical, On-page, Off-page, and Content SEO.

• Proven experience leading enterprise SEO programs and managing large client portfolios.

• Strong understanding of Google's search ecosystem, ranking algorithms, Core Web Vitals, AI Search, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

• Expertise in SEO platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, and similar tools.

• Experience managing website migrations, large-scale technical SEO implementations, and international SEO projects.

• Demonstrated success in leading high-performing SEO teams and driving business growth.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
