Job Description Summary

This position will be responsible for supporting engineering activities on projects related to all aspects of control system design (software and hardware) including control strategy development, HMI configuration, database management, network communications, alarm management, KPI monitoring, and managing project documentation. The candidate should also have knowledge of good manufacturing practices and be able to create and execute validation protocols and reports. This role requires excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work independently or in a team environment

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:


• Provide support to engineers working on control systems projects
• Assist in developing new control strategies
• Support hardware selection process
• Configure human-machine interfaces
• Commissioning support
• Create and maintain databases used for storing recipes and other data
• Troubleshoot issues found during commissioning or when called out to customer sites
• Develop test procedures and perform testing
• Generate technical documents such as user manuals, system drawings, network layouts, single line diagrams, and wiring diagrams
• Manage project schedules and budgets

Desired Qualification:


• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/Electronics/Instrumentation required
• Experience with automation/control systems required
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of configuring Allen Bradley PLCs
• Knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas:
• Safety Systems
• Motion Control
• Drives and Controls
