Graduate Engineer

Our Frederick, MD business unit is looking to add a Graduate Engineer to their team! Under close supervision, you will development, test, and debug computer software and product hardware with the ongoing guidance and direction from more experienced engineers focused on the deployment of Power Plant Training Simulators using the proprietary 3KEYSOFTWARE® suite of real-time simulation software. You will converts technical data into simulation models for the specific systems assigned and support both domestic and international products/services. Travel to power plant sites with the project team for data collection, project meetings and final system acceptance required, typically, 2-4 weeks of per year.

Location: Frederick, MD (onsite)

Salary Information: $67,000 - $72,000 annually

Your Challenge:

  • Working in a team of engineers to develop, test, and deliver simulations that accurately match real-world data

  • Supporting delivery of the simulation product which can include logic and controls, operator interface, and other disciplines

  • Support development of technical documentation: Design Specification, User Guides, and Test Procedures.

  • Interacting with power plant operators during testing of the product

What You Bring:

  • 0 – 2 years professional experience.

  • Engineering degree in mechanical, nuclear, or chemical fields.

  • Strong desire to learn a wide variety of engineering disciplines and interact with all facets of engineering design.

  • Background and coursework related to power plants, control systems or software-hardware interfaces considered a bonus.

  • Ability to travel 2-4 weeks of per year.
