Vörustjóri hefur yfirumsjón með og stýrir stefnumótun á einni af okkar vörulínum með það að meginmarkmiði að auka arðsama markaðshlutdeild og tekur þar með virkan þátt í framþróun fyrirtækisins. Vörustjóri hjá Össuri tilheyrir alþjóðlegri markaðsdeild og vinnur náið með öðrum deildum fyrirtækisins að þarfagreiningu og í að uppgötva ný tækifæri.

ÁBYRGÐ  

• Mótun og viðhald heildarstefnu vörulínu  
• Staðfærsla og stýring á líftímaskeiði vöru  
• Markaðssetning nýrra og núverandi vara í samráði við aðrar deildir fyrirtækisins 
• Þáttaka í hönnun og innleiðingu á markaðsstefnu (Go-to-Market Strategy) í samvinnu við aðrar deildir fyrirtækisins
• Myndun markaðstengsla (Voice of Customer) og nýting í greiningu og þróun nýrra markaðs- og viðskiptatækifæra

HÆFNISKRÖFUR  

• Háskólapróf sem nýtist í starfi  
• MBA/meistarapróf er kostur  
• A.m.k. 5 ára starfsreynsla við markaðsstörf og/eða viðskiptaþróun 
• Hæfileiki til að stýra og taka þátt í alþjóðlegum verkefnum og þverfaglegri teymisvinnu  
• Alþjóðleg starfsreynsla  
• Sterkir samskiptahæfileikar  
• Mjög góð enskukunnátta  
• Reynsla úr heilbrigðisiðnaði kostur

Embla Medical (Össur) is looking for an ambitious individual to join our team as a Global Product Manager in Iceland.  

The Global Product Manager has the overall responsibility for strategically managing one of our product lines with the main aim of growing profitable market share and thereby contributes actively to the organizational development. The Global Product Manager works closely with various other departments across the globe, including Research & Development, Manufacturing & Operations and Sales & Marketing. 

Field of work 

• Strategically manage a product portfolio  
• Develop product positioning and manage the entire product lifecycle Successfully take new products to market in close collaboration with other departments
• Participate in creating global go-to-market strategy in cooperation with global marketing
• Create business relationship and participate in the voice-of-customer process to identify needs for new products and solutions

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution  
• MBA or related advance degree preferred  
• 5+ years’ experience in marketing and/or business development  
• Ability to effectively manage global projects and teams across functions 
• International experience  
• Strong communication skills  
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English  
• Experience in medical devices / health care industry preferred
