Global Privacy Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable leader to manage a team responsible for critical privacy operations and compliance activities, including Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs), Privacy Risk Assessments (PRAs), privacy incident management, data subject rights requests, privacy issues and controls, and privacy reporting.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong learning agility, builds high-performing teams, and consistently drives results. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and influencing stakeholders across the enterprise to strengthen privacy practices and protect client and crew data. Core Responsibilities

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

• Hire, coach, develop, and inspire a team of privacy professionals.

• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence.

• Establish clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support career development.

Drive Privacy Operations and Regulatory Compliance

• Oversee the execution and continuous improvement of core privacy operations, including Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs), Privacy Risk Assessments (PRAs), aligned privacy issues and controls, privacy incidents, and data subject rights request processes.

• Ensure activities are executed efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulatory expectations.

Provide Strategic Privacy Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on global privacy laws, regulations, incident response, and emerging privacy risks.

• Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable and scalable business practices.

Build and Enhance Privacy Program Capabilities

• Build and maintain a library of privacy controls.

• Identify opportunities to enhance program effectiveness, simplify processes, and improve the crew and client experience.

• Provide holistic reporting on the health of our control environment and potential privacy risks.

Lead Through Change and Ambiguity

• Help the organization navigate new regulatory and technology landscapes.

• Balance strategic priorities with operational execution in a dynamic environment.

Partner Across the Enterprise

• Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, legal partners, risk professionals, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate privacy risks.

• Influence decision-making and drive alignment on privacy-related priorities and controls.

Oversee Privacy Incident Management

• Lead the privacy incident response framework, ensuring prompt investigation, escalation, remediation, and compliance with notification requirements.

• Drive lessons learned activities and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen organizational resilience.

Deliver Meaningful Reporting and Insights

• Oversee the development of privacy metrics, reporting, and executive-level insights that enable informed decision-making and demonstrate program effectiveness.

• Communicate risks, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Promote Privacy Awareness and Culture

• Lead privacy forums that increase awareness and accountability across the enterprise.

• Champion a culture that prioritizes the protection of crew and client information.

Continuously Learn and Innovate

• Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the privacy program and team.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years related work experience, privacy and regulatory experience in the financial services industry preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
