Below is the job description for open position

The Global Operations Program Manager – Asia is responsible for leading, coordinating and driving successful execution of strategic Operations programs local Changi and across Asia,

The position leads cross-functional projects involving industrialization of new products,  

product transfers, Cost down initiatives, capacity expansion, manufacturing optimization, automation major improvements

Missions of the Position

1. On Program Management

  • Establish project governance, milestones and decision gates, according to our method or process defined transferchecklist or SPEED projects or Healthcare method new definition,
  • Identify project interdependencies and resource conflicts, ensure alignment between BUs & Ops
  • Escalate risks and propose mitigation plans,
  • Planning detailed MS projects or similar tools

2. On Industrialization & New Product Introduction

  • Coordinate industrialization activities across all stakeholders.
  • Ensure manufacturing, equipment, raw material and or Process qualification execution and performance tracking Q/C/LT.
  • Deliver Product & process qualification plan internally and extract for customer exchanges.
  • Ramp-up performance reviews.

3. On Product Transfer and Linxens plant footprint Optimization

  • Manage product transfers between manufacturing sites.
  • Monitor capacity requirements and bottlenecks, prepare AR capex request then monitor capacity execution and progression.
  • Coordinate cross-site knowledge transfer.
  • Deliver Transfer master plans and qualification results reports to ensure validations.

4. Cost Competitiveness & Productivity Programs

  • Identify opportunities for manufacturing cost reduction, lead frequent periodic execution.
  • Support design-to-cost and value engineering initiatives.
  • Coordinate automation and digitalization projects.
  • Financial savings tracking with local or Operations finance dept.

Technical Skills

  • Global projects execution planification, Lean Expertise on methods and selection of right tool versus items to correct/improve,
  • Program Management experience and Portfolio Management
  • Six Sigma
  • Manufacturing Operations & Cost Improvement Methodologies

Soft skills

  • Good communication, presentation skills and stakeholder management,
  • Results orientation and decision making

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain or similar, with project Management certification and/or graduation on business Mgt
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Proven experience in electronics, semiconductors, RFID, medical devices or high-volume industrial manufacturing.
  • Eng & Chinese fluent
