Job Description

As a Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive tax and consulting experience, helping our clients meet their individual income tax compliance obligations. You will address complex tax issues from strategy to execution, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Building trusted relationships and fostering team success are essential parts of this role.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: 

  • Assist clients in their individual income tax compliance obligations, including preparation of individual income tax computations and returns, and handling correspondence with the respective tax authorities. 

  • Act to resolve issues which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty. 

  • Coach others and encourage them to take ownership of their development. 

  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.

  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet company's/client's expectations.

  • Develop a perspective on key global trends, including globalization, and how they impact the company and our clients. 

  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties. 

  • Focus on building trusted relationships. 

  • Uphold the company's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work. 

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard. 

  • Experience in expatriate tax; knowledge in Taiwan personal income tax represents an advantage.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience for senior position. 

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of associates. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, clients and staff. 

  • Strong analytical, organization and communication skills. 

  • An ability to work effectively under pressure and a proactive attitude. 

  • Fluent in Portuguese. 

  • Fluent in English. 

  • Education/ Graduation: Business, Law, Economy, International Relations. 

  • Demonstrated business development skills and enthusiasm about contributing to the growth of the Global Mobility Services practice.
