The Medical Asset Lead is a key strategic leader responsible for shaping the global medical vision and optimizing the full lifecycle of high-impact medical assets.

In this senior role, you will drive the alignment of medical deliverables with the goals of the Global Asset Teams, positioning the asset for sustained success in a dynamic healthcare landscape. As both a line manager and leader, you will guide a team of accomplished medical directors and clinical scientists,
fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Your leadership will extend to spearheading cross-functional Medical Asset sub-teams, where you will define, drive, and deliver a comprehensive, integrated medical strategy that aligns seamlessly with R&D, access, commercial, regulatory, and manufacturing plans to support the global brand vision.

Your role will involve

  • Define and deliver an integrated medical asset strategy and plan for both assets to address patient needs
  • Create scientific rigor and medical value from late development phase to patent expiry and beyond, adapted for each asset.
  • Own the overall medical strategy, establishes project goals and leads a cross-functional team to meet the medical objectives.
  • Outline an integrated evidence generation plan (IEGP) that shapes the competitive and prescription landscape.
  • Integrates and create a high performing Asset team to execute the Asset strategy Manage the respective medical asset budget
  • Lead the cross-functional Medical Asset Team to build the vision and strategy to maximize medical value of the respective asset.
In order to be considered for this role you must have an advanced Clinical/Science degree (ideally MD, PhD) coupled with extensive experience in Rare Diseases (ideally Liver) developing and executing medical/scientific strategies and plans demonstrating a value-add capability and mindset.
You will be a strong and committed leader with track record in and managing high performing teams, both operationally and strategically, with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
