About the Job

The YouTube Business Product Activation team is responsible for bringing products to market and market to products. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to develop, launch, and land YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem.

The core capabilities of the team include: designing go-to-market strategies, identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, collecting and synthesizing user feedback, and tracking performance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000-$177,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop best practices materials to support YouTube product launches and educate on key partner priorities.
  • Represent creator and partner feedback to influence product roadmaps, business strategy, and company narratives.
  • Be a product expert with the ability to analyze data (sourced via SQL, YouTube analytics, and internal tools) and deliver actionable insights.
  • Act as a project owner, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders (Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Public Relation, Trust and Safety) to secure all necessary approvals on external-facing resources.
  • Drive operational excellence, develop new processes, workflows, and tooling that improve overall team efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory roles.
  • 3 years of experience in a strategy and operations or consulting role.
  • 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Experience in consumer internet and media industries.
  • Experience using SQL or data analytics tools deliver insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with long-form video, short-form, live, and podcasting content, both on YouTube and across platforms.
  • Experience with GenAI tools, both in the creative and business spaces.

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.
