Hiring - GIS Expert / Specialist @ Bengaluru with Proficiency in Kannada & English Mandatory

Seeking a GIS Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and be adept at managing, analyzing, and visualizing spatial data to support business decisions.

The GIS Expert will work closely with different departments to design, develop, and maintain GIS databases, create spatial analysis models, and produce maps and reports that drive strategic initiatives. This role requires proficiency with GIS software and tools as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience working with GIS technologies.
• Proficient in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
• Strong skills in spatial data analysis, cartography, and geospatial data management.
• Experience with database management, SQL, and spatial databases.
• Knowledge of remote sensing and GPS data collection is a plus.
• Ability to create detailed maps and visualization to support business reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages (Python, R) for GIS automation is preferred.
• Kannada Speaking Preferred.
