German Speaking Game Chat Moderator

Patrique Mercier Recruitment is looking for a German Speaking Game Chat Moderator to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will help maintain a friendly and respectful chat environment for players on our online gaming platform. If you are fluent in German, passionate about gaming, and enjoy engaging with a vibrant community, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Monitor chat discussions to ensure compliance with community guidelines and promote positive interactions.
• Engage with players by answering questions and facilitating enjoyable conversations in German.
• Swiftly identify and address any instances of inappropriate behavior or language in the chat.
• Assist players with their inquiries and resolve any issues they may encounter during their gaming experience.
• Collaborate with the game development team to enhance community initiatives and gather feedback from players.
• Report on player interactions and suggest enhancements to improve overall gameplay and engagement.

Requirements

• Fluency in German (both spoken and written) is required; proficiency in English is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of gaming culture.
• Prior experience in chat moderation, community management, or customer support is an advantage.
• Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy while maintaining a positive environment.
• A strong passion for gaming and familiarity with various online gaming platforms.
• Knowledge of chat moderation tools and community engagement practices is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours to align with peak gaming activity periods.
