Position Overview
Stratos Solutions has an opportunity for a GEOINT Ground System Program Office (G2SPO) Outreach Specialist to support an Intelligence Community (IC) Space customer in Chantilly, VA. The selected candidate will serve as a trusted liaison between the GEOINT Ground System Program Office (G2SPO), mission partners, and operational stakeholders, helping customers understand, adopt, and maximize the capabilities delivered by the program office.
This role combines technical knowledge, customer engagement, and mission advocacy to ensure users across the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Intelligence Community, and mission partners are aware of available capabilities, understand system functionality, and can effectively integrate GEOINT processing and exploitation capabilities into operational workflows. The successful candidate will routinely engage senior government personnel, conduct technical briefings, coordinate outreach activities, gather user feedback, and communicate mission needs back to the program office to support future capability development.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of GEOINT systems, GEOINT processing baselines, and remote sensing phenomenology—including Electro-Optical (EO) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technologies—and can communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and operational audiences.

Responsibilities
The GEOINT Ground System Program Office (G2SPO) Outreach Specialist will support government customers by promoting awareness, adoption, and effective utilization of GEOINT ground system capabilities while serving as a trusted interface between the program office and mission stakeholders.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Customer Engagement & Mission Support
- Serve as a primary liaison between the GEOINT Ground System Program Office and mission users across the Intelligence Community.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with operational customers, mission partners, and stakeholder organizations.
- Identify customer needs, operational challenges, and mission gaps, and communicate findings to program leadership.
- Facilitate collaboration between government organizations, system developers, and operational users to improve mission effectiveness.
- Support customer engagement activities throughout the capability lifecycle, from planning through operational deployment.
Outreach, Communications & Technical Briefings
- Plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events, demonstrations, technical exchanges, and customer engagement activities.
- Deliver technical presentations and mission briefings to audiences ranging from operators to senior government leadership.
- Develop outreach materials, briefing packages, demonstrations, and communication products describing G2SPO capabilities and services.
- Educate users on available GEOINT processing capabilities, system enhancements, and best practices.
- Promote awareness and adoption of new mission capabilities across supported organizations.
GEOINT Mission Expertise
- Apply knowledge of GEOINT processing baselines and exploitation workflows to support customer engagement activities.
- Explain the capabilities, limitations, and operational applications of GEOINT collection and processing systems.
- Provide technical insight regarding Electro-Optical (EO) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) phenomenology and associated physics.
- Support discussions involving GEOINT data processing, dissemination, exploitation, and mission integration.
- Assist customers in understanding how G2SPO capabilities support operational mission requirements.
Requirements & Mission Integration
- Collect, document, and communicate customer requirements and operational feedback to program leadership.
- Support prioritization of future enhancements based on mission needs and user input.
- Coordinate with engineering, acquisition, and operational teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately represented.
- Assist with transition planning and operational adoption of new system capabilities.
Program Office Support
- Represent the Program Office during customer meetings, working groups, technical reviews, and mission planning activities.
- Support strategic communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of evolving GEOINT technologies, mission priorities, and Intelligence Community initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of customer engagement strategies and outreach processes.
Required Qualifications
Education & Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing, Physics, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related technical field.
(Relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements.) - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Experience supporting GEOINT programs within the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense.
- Working knowledge of GEOINT processing baselines and operational exploitation workflows.
- Understanding of Electro-Optical (EO) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) phenomenology and associated collection principles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience coordinating with multiple government organizations and mission stakeholders.
- Ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical or programmatic recommendations.
- Experience preparing executive-level briefings, technical presentations, and customer communications.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and relationship management skills.
Desired Skills / Qualifications
- Experience supporting the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), particularly GEOINT Ground System Program Office (G2SPO) activities.
- Experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
- Familiarity with GEOINT exploitation architectures, processing baselines, and enterprise GEOINT systems.
- Experience supporting outreach, mission integration, customer engagement, or stakeholder management within the Intelligence Community.
- Knowledge of GEOINT collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) workflows.
- Understanding of space-based remote sensing architectures and GEOINT mission operations.
- Experience coordinating across government, contractor, and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) organizations.
- Experience supporting acquisition, systems engineering, or mission integration activities within a government program office.
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community governance processes, working groups, and cross-agency coordination.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior government leadership and operational mission users.
