General Manager

The Lasan Group operates a number of award winning restaurants in the Birmingham area. 

Lasan has a history of success, famously winning Gordon Ramsey’s F-Word for UK's Best Local Restaurant and BBC’s ‘The Great British Menu’. This continued success is only possible thanks to our great people, who we are proud to call part of the family.

We are looking for a General Manager to lead our team at Lasan. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional looking for an exciting challenge. Are you a great communicator with a passion for guest service?

The stunning Lasan Restaurant (2 AA Rosette) is located in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham. 

Our ideal General Manager will be:

• genuinely passionate about hospitality;
• a strong leader with the ability to inspire and motivate;
• confident and unflappable; 
• able to organise service effectively;

Our ideal General Manager will have:

• proven experience in a similar role;
• passion for delivering a high standard of service and willingness to develop;
• excellent people skills with the ability to engage with guests and build instant rapport;
• ability to quickly gain an understanding of specific business functions and take ownership of the resulting tasks;
• ability to train and lead team members to reach their full potential;
• a sound understanding of P&L and commercial awareness;
  
• proficient verbal and written command of English.
  

Relevant experience is very important for this position. We are looking for someone with the intelligence, intuition and motivation to excel in the role; constantly wanting to better themselves and over deliver. Relevant training will be provided, but we will only consider candidates who have the skills and characteristics listed above.
