GC Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced GC Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our engineering support team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in construction estimating, quantity surveying, and bid preparation for commercial General Contracting (GC) projects. In this role, you will collaborate with US-based project management and estimating teams to deliver accurate, competitive bids for high-profile international construction projects.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Review bid drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for civil construction projects.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), unit rates, exclusions, and bid documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
• Ensure estimates comply with CSI divisions and U.S. construction standards.
• Utilize estimating software to improve speed and accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes.
• Mentor junior estimators when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Estimation and Quantity Surveying.
• Experience with General Contracting (GC) projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction projects.
• Familiarity with CSI Divisions, tendering processes, and U.S. construction standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or On-Screen Takeoff.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
