Gateway Church Residency

The Gateway Residency is a full or part-time ministry development program where we are committed to stretching and empowering leaders to explore their calling into ministry while helping us achieve our mission to help people explore God and become a unified community of growing, multiplying Christ-followers.

The Gateway Residency provides life-changing training and hands-on direct ministry experience in leadership and discipleship from seasoned leaders.

If you are eager to find a high-paying salaried position with amazing benefits, then this program is likely not going to be a good fit for you. Job Description:

The average time spent per week for Gateway Residents will be 40 hours. We do want to ensure that residents are taking two days off to rest each week and have one Solitude day a month.

• Residency Family Group: 1-1.5 hours per week
• Courses (usually 8-10 weeks each)
  • Bible 1: 2.5 hours per week
  • Bible 2: 2.5 hours per week
  • EQ Leadership: 2 hours per week
  • Management (Time, People, Money) 2 hours per week
  • Discipleship: 1.5 hours per week
  • Communication: 1.5 hours per week
• Staff Meetings: 2-3 hours per week
• 1 on 1 Coach meetings: 2 hours per week
• Hands-on Ministry Experience: 20-25 hours per week
