Gas Installation Engineer

Our Client is a leading National Installer of energy efficient solutions which includes insulation, heating, renewables as well as a distribution business supplying many insulation, heating and building products. They have a great reputation for setting the standards in delivering excellent Customer Service and Quality for our clients for more than 35 years.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Gas Installation Engineer to join the team.

Key responsibilities may include

• Fitting all types of central heating designs
• Replacement of Boilers
• Convert and update heating systems
• To make sure work area is cleared, brick dust is cleaned off, pathways are swept and debris and packaging is removed from site and disposed of correctly
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork relating to work is available and recorded accurately
• Adhere to any reasonable work instructions given
• Flexible approach to working hours and working location
• Ensure that the professional image and quality standards of the company are maintained
• Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures

Key knowledge and skills preferred for the role

• ACS qualifications
• Experienced in fitting all types of central heating systems
• Proven work experience history, working with installations
• Excellent customer service
• Able to work unsupervised and ability to work as part of a team
• A valid UK driving licence
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with good practical skills
• Due to the demands of the role all applicants must have good manual dexterity as you will be required to work at height (including drilling and lifting whilst on ladder) and in confined spaces
• Previous experience of a 3 years’ is preferred
