Future Talent Internship Programme – Finance

Location: Malaysia

Launch your career with our 12 week Future Talent Internship Programme in Finance. Designed for final-year undergraduates, this internship offers hands-on-specific experience supporting business operations, process improvement, and project delivery within a leading global financial institution. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to corporate banking operations, and develop practical skills that will support your future career.

Job Summary

To support the Finance Department in day-to-day administrative and reporting coordination activities. This role is strictly limited to internal administrative functions and does not include access to customer data, banking systems, or customer-related information.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support to the Finance team, including document preparation, formatting, and filing.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal reports, presentations, management reporting materials, and audit schedules.
  • Support data compilation and perform basic analysis using Microsoft Excel for internal reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate and follow up on information requests with relevant stakeholders and departments.
  • Maintain and organize documentation and records to support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Support Finance-related projects, process improvement initiatives, and workflow documentation activities.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative and coordination tasks as assigned by the Finance team.

Scope Limitation

  • Strictly an administrative and coordination role with no access to customer data, banking transactions, or core banking systems.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a recognized higher learning institution in Malaysia, pursuing a degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, where an internship is a mandatory component for course completion.
  • Final-year student with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
  • Available to work full-time for 12 weeks starting in October 2026.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus.
  • Strong interest in Global Corporate Banking, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Japanese is an advantage.

Note

  • Interns will receive an allowance of RM 1,500 per month.
