Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our Client Experience team, supporting our APAC business. As a Fund Administrator at FNZ, you will be responsible for delivering high quality fund administration and client services to new and existing clients, advisers, and product owners, using FNZ’s market leading platform. You will play a key role in ensuring client interactions and service delivery are professional, accurate, and aligned with agreed service and performance standards.

In this role, your day-to-day work will involve a broad range of core fund administration activities, including money‑in, money‑out, maintenance, and insurance processes. You’ll continue to build your knowledge and experience across all facets of fund administration, contributing to efficient operations and positive client outcomes while working collaboratively within the wider team.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Process day to day fund administration work accurately and efficiently, including Australian superannuation transactions such as contributions, payments, beneficiary updates, and account maintenance.

  • Manage and progress work items from the case queue, ensuring requests are logged, picked up, and completed within agreed service levels

  • Handle repetitive, high‑volume processing tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Support other operational functions as required, including Corporate Actions, Cash, and related fund services activities

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all colleagues and respond to client related queries via email and case management systems.

  • Prioritise and manage workload effectively in a fast‑paced environment to consistently meet KPIs and SLAs.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service delivery and timely issue resolution.

  • Participate in structured training and ongoing competency assessments to build knowledge across fund administration disciplines.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement once established in the role, and assist with ad‑hoc tasks or projects as required to support wider Customer Experience operations.

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Prior experience in fund administration or a similar financial services operations role

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in high‑volume processing environments

  • Ability to investigate issues independently, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions

  • Confident computer literacy, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook)

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage repetitive or high‑volume workloads and perform under pressure when required

  • Adaptable and responsive to change, including regulatory, process, and organisational changes

  • Self‑motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to work autonomously while contributing positively as a team player.

  • Available to work full-time from Monday to Friday, including Malaysia public holidays, following New Zealand hours working 4.30am - 1.30pm MYT.

What is in it for you?

  • Be part of a highly successful, rapidly growing global business that is leading the delivery of financial services and partners with some of the world’s largest companies.

  • Remuneration and career advancement is based on individual contribution and business impact rather than tenure or seniority.

  • We provide significant financial rewards for high performing individuals.

  • Join our growing Kuala Lumpur based team, offering autonomy, pace, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic operational environment

  • Hybrid working arrangement: 3 days in office, 2 days working from home

If this role appeals to you, please apply with your cover letter and CV by 28 August.

*Please note we shortlist as we receive applications. We encourage early applications as we may withdraw advertising at any time.
