Job description
What We Do

Gridline is a fast-growing, VC-backed fintech company building the infrastructure that powers private markets in the wealth channel. We bring speed, transparency, and institutional-grade operating rigor to a historically manual and opaque part of the financial system.

We’re in a phase of rapid growth and are building the team that will define the next generation of private market infrastructure.

Who We Are

We’re operators and builders who care about execution, clarity, and long-term impact. We look for people who:

  • Make data-driven decisions and think in systems
  • Take ownership and move with urgency
  • Communicate clearly and set thoughtful priorities
  • Learn fast and thrive in evolving environments
  • Operate with candor, integrity, and high standards
Role Overview

As a Fund Administration Associate at Gridline, you will support the day-to-day operations of our investment vehicles and play a hands-on role in delivering a high-quality experience for advisors and investors. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants exposure to private markets, fund operations, and fintech-enabled administration in a fast-growing environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Assist in the preparation of audit and tax workpapers and coordinate requests from external service providers
  • Support quarterly compliance reporting and annual review processes under the direction of the Head of Fund Administration
  • Prepare portfolio schedules, capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, and capital account activity
  • Help ensure fund operations comply with governing documents, including partnership agreements and subscription materials
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of coordination with external administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and legal partners
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation across fund and investor activity
  • Contribute to operational projects, including workflow improvements, automation initiatives, and platform enhancements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fund administration, accounting, audit, or transaction advisory, preferably with exposure to private funds
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial data and reconciliations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Foundational understanding of private market fund structures (VC, PE, credit, or real assets)
  • Experience using accounting systems, fund administration platforms, or portfolio management tools
