Team/Role Overview

The Fund Accounting Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations – Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to perform reconciliation and investigation tasks while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of assigned activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine operational tasks including reconciliation and data validation activities

  • Identify discrepancies in transactions and escalate issues to senior team members for resolution

  • Maintain data quality by ensuring accurate and timely input of transactions and supporting documentation requirements

  • Respond to standard inquiries from internal stakeholders and assist in communication with counterparties, custodians, and service providers

  • Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with established procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements

  • Support the team in meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and operational targets

  • Assist with control processes, including basic quality checks and risk awareness activities

  • Participate in team training and development activities to build functional knowledge

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Transaction Services, or a related Middle Office Operations role

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

  • Basic understanding of financial markets and accounting principles is an advantage

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment
