Functional Specialist (Tax)

Role Puporse

The Tax Technology & Process Specialist supports the Tax function by ensuring the efficient use, continuous improvement, and governance of tax-related processes within SAP BOLD and related systems. This role acts as a bridge between Tax, and (i) internal functions such as IT, and Process teams and (ii) external service providers, ensuring that business requirements are properly translated into system solutions while allowing Tax teams to focus on core value-added activities.

Main Responsibilities 

• Act as the primary point of contact between Tax, IT, Process teams, and external vendors.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and system solutions.
• Coordinate system enhancements, testing activities, issue resolution, and development requests.
• Identify and implement process improvement, automation, and standardization opportunities across regions.
• Maintain process documentation, support user training, and ensure high-quality system governance and adoption.

• Degree in Finance, Tax, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience working with SAP environments (S/4HANA preferred) and tax-related systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-oriented mindset.
• Experience collaborating with IT teams, system implementations, and testing activities.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and AI tools is a plus.
