Functional Consultant D365

The objective of this role is to support the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across APAC markets, with a focus on regions where Chinese is the primary business language. The role works closely with Solution Architects and global delivery teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance, and regional compliance requirements.

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to define and document end-to-end solution design
• Lead and support business requirement gathering and BRD documentation
• Perform fit-gap analysis and contribute to functional solution design
• Configure D365 F&O modules aligned to business processes across APAC markets
• Support multi-country implementations including China and Chinese-speaking regions
• Prepare functional design documents (FDDs) and solution documentation
• Develop UAT test scenarios, test cases, and support UAT execution
• Perform functional testing and system testing prior to UAT cycles
• Create training materials and support end-user training and adoption
• Collaborate with data and integration teams to support migration and interfaces
• Provide functional support during SIT, UAT, and production deployment
• Ensure compliance with regional regulatory and business requirements
• Adhere to governance frameworks and enterprise standards

Professional Knowledge/Skills

• 6+ years of experience in D365 F&O implementations
• Experience delivering Global/APAC-wide CRM and project operations solutions
• Strong understanding of Finance and Project accounting
• Experience in BRD creation, functional documentation, UAT, and testing
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Solution Architects and technical teams
• Knowledge of Power Platform, integrations, and data concepts
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English is mandatory
• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
