Full Stack Engineer II

About the Role:

You will be implementing quality code to meet functional and non-functional requirements that will pass through different stage gates to ensure quality matrix and code coverage in CI/CD.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build new features and enhance existing products using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system reliability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Support software release management and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our engineering practices.

What are we looking for, and what does it require to be the right fit for this role?

• Education & Professional Qualification: B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on backend development JavaScript frameworks (NodeJS, ExpressJS, NestJS).
• Knowledge of REST Web Services/ APIs.
• Strong Database Knowledge, SQL, and Query optimization.
• Knowledge of any ORM Framework.
• Good experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with source control (GIT) and CI/CD, for example, Jenkins.
• Experience with unit testing - Mocha or Jest framework.
• Good expertise in writing scalable and optimized code.
• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks - ReactJS, Angular.
• Interest in front-end UX development.
• Demonstrable understanding of good architectural design principles.
• Interest in tooling and automation, exposure to Scrum/Agile environment.
