FT Cleaning Associate

Overview

The focus of the role is to provide outstanding day to day cleaning and maintenance services to our customers. This is a Temporary role.

Responsibilities

Further this role will encompass the following responsibilities:

· Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

· Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

· Gather and empty trash.

· Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

· Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

· Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

· Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.

· Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

· Maintain exterior parking lots and walkways.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively
• 1-2 years’ experience in the janitorial field

 

Physical Requirements:

• 85% physical job
• Lifting up to 20 pounds
