About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer at MyShell, you'll play a key role in shaping how users interact with AI-native apps — building fast, responsive interfaces that make powerful tools feel effortless to use. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to define APIs and seamlessly integrate them with UI components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of sophisticated frontend applications, ensuring responsiveness and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable web applications, adhering to high-quality code standards and best practices.
  • Leverage tracking and dashboard tools to analyze user behavior with product managers and drive product iteration.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and performance, delivering a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define APIs and integrate them seamlessly with UI components.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Stay at the forefront of frontend technologies and best practices, incorporating them into our tech stack to drive innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in frontend development, with a proven track record of building high-quality web applications.
  • Experience with user behavior tracking, data analysis, and dashboard,  capable of data-driven collaboration with product teams.
  • Deep expertise in React, HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+, with a strong understanding of modern frontend architectures and patterns.
  • Proficiency in state management libraries and a solid grasp of RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with build tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD processes.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin).
