Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with shipper about booking request; verify shipment details
• Communicate with overseas agents/ destination team to get green light to proceed shipment; communicate with all relevant party to solve incurred issues relating to shipment
• Confirm and check selling rates availability through Quote Assist or with the relevant Sales person or follow routing guideline in SOP.
• Work with carrier for sailing schedule; space availability and booking confirmation
• Co-ordinate with trucking vendor to arrange trucking
• Prepare documentation (FCR/HBL/MBL) according to the deadline
• Ensure the cost are contained, negotiate with vendor for any extra charges incurred and ensure that there is a margin against the sell rate.
• Proceed ISF/ACI/AMS filing to ensure the cargo are declared in appropriate manner
• Prepare shipper’s invoice and payment request to proceed payment on time

Work Experience / Education:

• 1-2 years of experience in similar positions or companies
• Able to work under pressure
• Diligent, detail oriented
• Able to communicate in English
