Apply to this jobThis TNA assignment will serve as a bridge to the CNA Training Program and assist with resident care by providing unit support with the non-direct care activities listed below. This assignment will allow the potential CNA trainee to get a glimpse of the CNA experience from a non-direct care perspective; through observation and direct participation.
- Make resident beds
- Transport residents to activities and meals
- Answer call bells
- Answer unit phone
- Check and stock supplies
- Collect plates and cups after dining
- Put away laundry/Labeling clothes for laundry
- Check resident rooms for amenities
- Alert nursing staff of resident needs as necessary
- Perform Enhanced Observation of a resident/patient as assigned, to ensure safety, comfort and companionship.
- Documents resident/patient behaviors, activities hourly in Behavior Book when assigned as to Enhanced Observation.
- Other duties as assigned
- Grounds monitor of the residents
A Nurse Aide Assistant doesn't require a GED/High school diploma but to enter into our Nurse Aide Training Class you do need to either one.
