FPSI Academy General Instructor Opportunity
Tallahassee State College is excited to announce openings for the position of FPSI Academy General Instructor - Law Enforcement at the Florida Public Safety Institute. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.
What You’ll Do
The Florida Public Safety Institute is looking for Law Enforcement Instructors to instruct in Basic Recruit Training courses
Instruct general topics in the Basic Law Enforcement Recruit Training Program.
Participate in scenario training and classroom discussion.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Criminal Justice Standards Training Commission (CJSTC) Current General Instructor Certification.
Knowledge of the following: State of Florida Criminal Justices Standards and Training rules and regulations,
Minimum of 4 years Law Enforcement
FDLE Instructor Exemptions may be made on a case-by-case basis if you qualify.
Work Schedule: Hours may vary. Part-Time, 10 – 30 hours a week
