Job Description:

Position Summary: Here in our Form Shop we build and maintain vertical forming systems used by Kokosing and all its companies.  We are looking to fill a full-time position as a Carpenter in our Concrete Form Shop in Monroe, OH. Where we enjoy the stability of showing up to a custom-built forming system facility every day that enables employees to work year-round in all weather conditions.  Some of the responsibilities include the assembly and disassembly of steel and wood concrete forms, cleaning and repair of different forming systems, pulling orders, and prefabrication of other jobsite related items (shelving, trailer buildouts, stairs, roofing systems, etc.).

ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately build projects from a set of plans

·         Show up on time every day with a positive attitude

·         Load and unload equipment and supplies.

·         Maintain a clean and safe working environment

·         Perform other routine duties as directed by the Foreman.

·         Build concrete forms.

·         Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

·         Ability to safely and accurately use a variety of hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, table saws, bandsaws, routers, etc.)

Education/Experience:

·         High School diploma or GED equivalent.

·          Minimum 2 years carpentry experience commercial or residential

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Work independently, as well as within a group.

·         Work rapidly and accurately with hands.

·         Ability to safely work from elevated or crouched positions, or on knees as required.

·         Lift and carry objects weighing 50-70 pounds.

·         Follow specific directions. Stand and walk for long periods.

·         Can accurately read a tape measure and understand fabrication drawings
