The Construction and Drilling Foreman is located in Salt Lake City, UT and typically reports directly to the Division Manager/Superintendent. Primary focus is providing superior leadership and management for the project(s) in accordance with policies and procedures adopted by the Company. The Construction and Drilling Foreman shall foster an environment of cooperation and support to enable employees to perform to their maximum potential.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure that safety policies are properly established, communicated, and implemented on the project
  • Scheduling and coordination of crews, equipment, materials, outages, etcetera for performance of the work.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Project Managers
  • Support estimating as needed and execute work to support the profitable growth of the division;
  • Enforces all company health, safety, and environment policies and procedures
  • Supervises a small crew of employees (1-5) and prioritizes work accordingly
  • Fulfills all assigned construction job duties, including project layout, timelines, and completes necessary paperwork
  • Interprets and follows plans, material lists and guidelines
  • Oversees timesheets and related project paperwork from subordinate staff
  • Conducts toolbox meetings as required to review overall operations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-4 years of experience supervising multiple crews and locations Involved in drilling and heavy equipment construction.
  • Must possess Class A CDL driver license, or the ability to obtain within 90-days of employment.
  • Working knowledge of various drilling techniques including rock drilling, slurry methods, temporary and permanent casing, and vibratory methods preferred.
  • Ability, and willingness to travel to obtain and manage customers and projects.
  • Must be a demonstrated communicator and team player.
  • Must possess the ability to support job estimates and quantity take-offs as required.
  • Prefer proficient skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bi-lingual communications ability a great plus, English/Spanish.
  • Demonstrated safety performance record.
