Food Manufacturing Lead

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a food manufacturing company, is seeking a qualified Food Production Lead. As a Production Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of coordinating production in a food manufacturing environment. Schedule: 1st Shift (7:30am-4:00pm or until work is complete), Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $20/hour

This is a Full-Time, temporary-to-hire position.

Summary:

Support oversight of production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Ensure smooth production operation during shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Supervise production in accordance with company policies and procedures.

-Train and coach employees in production.

-Responsible for meeting shift production goals.

-Overseeing quality control and making adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications.

-Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of Food Manufacturing experience.
• Commitment of 40 hours per work. The job operates in a manufacturing environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.
• Occasionally required to stand and walk.
• Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Overall level of physical activity is moderate.
