Floor Vinyl Installer

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing floors and installing vinyl flooring materials on residential, commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial settings

• Measure and assess areas for flooring installation

• Prepare floors by cleaning, levelling, sanding and applying DPM layers and levelling compounds

• Install vinyl and safety flooring materials

• Cut and fit flooring materials accurately around walls, corners, fixtures and fittings

• Apply adhesives and secure flooring to manufacturers specifications

• Weld and seal joints to vinyl

• Install cove formers, skirting and finishing trims

• Ability to read drawings, plans and specifications

• Knowledge of floor preparation

• Proficiency with flooring tools and equipment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with quality workmanship

• Assist with other site duties when required
