FlightSite Agent - National Network Consultant

Our FlightSite team is looking for an experienced FlightSite Agent - National Network Consultant!

About the Role

This role is structured to support the growth of travel entrepreneurs by helping independent agents who have subscribed to the Flightsite Agent platform become transactional. The focus of this role is to contact these agents regularly to follow up, obtain feedback, and assist these independent travel agents with any issues or queries they may have regarding the system or their bookings. The FlightSite Agent platform makes travel easy and supports independent travel agents' access well-priced travel content through a reliable online system.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Activate non-transacting agents.
• Train non-transacting agents on new FlightSite Agent products and coordinate with the sales team.
• Track the sales performance of each agent.
• Communicate with non-transacting agents to find out the reason for poor performance and assist with any issues.
  
• Obtain feedback from agents on competition/market trends and pass the information on to the Operations Leader.
• Analyse and recommend new sales strategies, to achieve projected revenue targets through efficient and professional utilization of all available resources.
• Assist agents with offline bookings, if required.
• Assist agents with re-issues.
• Ensure that all agents understand payment options.
  
• Work with and apply airline rules on both international and domestic carriers to avoid ADMs / errors.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma in Travel and Tourism or related qualification (desirable/preferred).
• Minimum 2-year leisure travel consulting experience.
• 2 - 5 years of GDS Knowledge in Amadeus.
• Strong geography, destination, and product knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient with MS Office and or G-Suite.
• Proven sales experience
• Flexible and adaptive to change.
• Ability to excel under pressure
• Discernment, discretion and awareness of professional conduct in terms of confidentiality
