Fleet Maintenance Technician
Fleet Maintenance Mechanic
Major areas of responsibility include:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on tractor-trailers and fleet vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Execute annual vehicle inspections in accordance with CFR 49, Part 396; ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of work performed
- Perform related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, and hydraulic systems
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday
