Job description

Are you the person everyone calls when something needs to get done?

You're a hands-on person who enjoys staying busy, notices problems before anyone else does, and takes pride in making sure the little things never become big problems.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

We're looking for a Fleet & Facilities Coordinator to become one of the operational cornerstones of our company. This role is for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and gets satisfaction from keeping people, projects, and operations running smoothly.

At Aardvark Studios, we design and fabricate custom experiential marketing vehicles, environments, and mobile tours for some of the world's biggest brands. Every project is different, and every day brings a new challenge. One week we're building a branded vehicle. The next we're preparing assets for a nationwide tour. No two days look the same, and that's exactly how we like it.

This isn't just a warehouse job.

It isn't just a driving job.

It isn't just a facilities job.

You'll help keep our fleet, warehouse, facilities, inventory, vendors, and day-to-day operations running efficiently so our project teams can stay focused on building incredible work for our clients.

If you enjoy solving problems, staying organized, and jumping in wherever you're needed, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

No two days are exactly alike, but your work may include:

  • Receive, organize, stage, and distribute materials for upcoming projects
  • Drive company vans, box trucks, and promotional vehicles for pickups, deliveries, service appointments, and project support
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for company vehicles, trailers, and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and facility
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Support project teams by organizing pallets, loading and unloading trucks, and helping get projects out the door
  • Coordinate with vendors for fleet, facility, and equipment needs
  • Perform light facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects
  • Update inventory systems and maintenance records
  • Jump in wherever needed to solve problems and help keep projects moving

We're Looking for Someone Who...

  • Notices problems before anyone else does
  • Takes ownership without waiting to be asked
  • Enjoys organizing spaces, systems, and equipment
  • Is mechanically curious and likes figuring things out
  • Can confidently communicate with coworkers and vendors
  • Juggles multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed
  • Is comfortable using technology to stay organized
  • Takes pride in reliable, high-quality work
  • Enjoys being active and doesn't want to sit behind a desk all day
  • Understands that no task is beneath them if it helps the team succeed

Experience & Qualifications

We're more interested in the right person than checking every box.

Ideal candidates will have experience in operations, warehouse, facilities, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, transportation, fleet management, equipment rental, public works, or similar hands-on environments.

You'll also need:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
  • Comfortable driving company vans and 20'–26' box trucks
  • Forklift experience is a plus (we'll train the right person)
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds
  • Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, and basic software for inventory, scheduling, and communication

You don't need to be a mechanic. We do expect you to be comfortable diagnosing basic issues, asking good questions, working with vendors, and helping keep our vehicles, equipment, and facility running smoothly.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

You're the person your friends and family call when something needs fixed, organized, or figured out.

You enjoy working on your truck, Jeep, RV, trailer, motorcycle, boat, lawn equipment, or projects around the house.

You like solving problems, staying busy, and seeing tangible results from your work each day.

People describe you as dependable, resourceful, organized, and someone who simply gets things done.

How We'll Measure Success

Success in this role isn't measured by how many boxes you move. It's measured by how smoothly our operations run.

You'll be successful when:

  • Our fleet is well maintained and ready when needed
  • The warehouse is organized, clean, and efficient
  • Inventory is accurate and easy to locate
  • Deliveries and pickups happen safely and on time
  • Facility issues are identified and resolved proactively
  • Project teams have what they need when they need it
  • People trust you to take ownership and follow through

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
  • Paid time off
  • Medical / Dental / Vision benefits
  • Life insurance, short & long-term disability options
  • Retirement matching after 1 year
  • On-site private-use gym
  • Dog-friendly workspace
