Fitness Specialist - part time

Are you passionate about working with older adults? Do you lead engaging and effective group fitness classes? We’re looking for a dedicated Fitness Specialist to join our team!

This is a part-time position scheduled 20 hours per week.

Compensation: commensurate with experience within $21-$26 hourly range

How you will make an impact

• Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.
• Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
• Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.
• Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

What you will need 

• Minimum of 1-year related work experience
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal Training Experience preferred
• Current lifeguard certification
