What You Will Do:
π Receive and manage service calls from the Service Resource Center
π· Diagnose, service, and repair electronic fire alarm systems and related building systems at customer sites
π Troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical guides
π οΈ Service and install Fire & Life Safety systems (including SimplexGrinnell)
π Complete Service Acknowledgements and maintain proper coding via smart devices
βοΈ Obtain customer signatures upon completion of work
π Participate in an on-call rotation
π¨βπ« Mentor or train junior team members
π‘ Perform other assigned duties as needed
Required:
π 5β7 years experience in low-voltage electrical systems (Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, Nurse Call, Paging)
ποΈ Ability to read/interpret blueprints, submittals, and manuals
π§ Skilled with multi-meters, digital analyzers, commissioning devices
π High School Diploma (or equivalent)
πͺ Physical ability to move equipment/tools (50β70 lbs) & work in challenging spaces (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, ceilings)
β° Flexibility to work varied hours/weekends & travel overnight if needed
π Valid driverβs license & acceptable driving record
π‘οΈ Ability to pass background check & drug test
π Maintain required licenses (National/State/Local codes)
π¬ Strong customer service skills, positive attitude & organizational skills
Preferred:
ποΈ NICET Level II Certification
