What You Will Do:

📞 Receive and manage service calls from the Service Resource Center

👷 Diagnose, service, and repair electronic fire alarm systems and related building systems at customer sites

🔍 Troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical guides

🛠️ Service and install Fire & Life Safety systems (including SimplexGrinnell)

📑 Complete Service Acknowledgements and maintain proper coding via smart devices

✍️ Obtain customer signatures upon completion of work

📆 Participate in an on-call rotation

👨‍🏫 Mentor or train junior team members

💡 Perform other assigned duties as needed

Required:

🔌 5–7 years experience in low-voltage electrical systems (Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, Nurse Call, Paging)

🗂️ Ability to read/interpret blueprints, submittals, and manuals

🔧 Skilled with multi-meters, digital analyzers, commissioning devices

🎓 High School Diploma (or equivalent)

💪 Physical ability to move equipment/tools (50–70 lbs) & work in challenging spaces (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, ceilings)

⏰ Flexibility to work varied hours/weekends & travel overnight if needed

🚐 Valid driver’s license & acceptable driving record

🛡️ Ability to pass background check & drug test

📜 Maintain required licenses (National/State/Local codes)

💬 Strong customer service skills, positive attitude & organizational skills

Preferred:

🎖️ NICET Level II Certification
