Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Fire Permit Coordinator to coordinate and arrange all aspects of the permitting process in administrating, organization, tracking, applying for and submitting all necessary documentation to various agencies and municipalities having jurisdiction over required permits and/or approvals for the installation, repair, and service of various Fire Life Safety systems.

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of permit applications, status review, and approvals.
  • Serve as a liaison between field personnel, management, and permitting agencies with regards to all issues related to the permitting process.
  • Review, prepare, and submit permit packages in accordance with jurisdictional requirements. Collaborate with sales, operational leadership, and applicable vendors to ensure timely preparation of permit packages.
  • Obtain required documents from all applicable parties to facilitate the permit application process.
  • Oversee daily work activity in permit and records processing, tracking and other administrative areas.
  • Collaborate with permitting agency and local scheduling coordinator to establish service dates.

Skills/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 13 months+ of permitting experience
