Financial Operations Manager II

The Financial Operations Manager is responsible for leading strategy development and execution of all dealer/customer on-boarding for Wholesale Finance, Leasing, and other commercial lending. Manages the processing of new commercial leasing transactions. Interacts with the Distributors, Direct Sales Staff, leasing customers and internal departments such as legal, tax and accounting to coordinate transactions.

 

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and execute customer-facing operational strategies emphasizing efficiency and accuracy, while leveraging technology.
• Manage the onboarding process for Product Groups and other exclusive boarding opportunities.
• Execute and assist in the development of market-based strategies emphasizing profitable loan and lease portfolio growth focused on:

- Maximization of existing asset/relationship profitability and revenue growth

- Strengthening Yamaha Motor Corporation USA’s and Yamaha Financial Services market

position and distribution channel strength

- New product / service development

• Identify new opportunities to leverage existing business to create and implement new/expanding operational efficiencies, optimal customer experience, and support growth initiatives.
• Work closely with division leaders in financial services and product sales groups to effectively plan and prioritize opportunities, maintain high levels of service, and manage company profitability.
• Develop and document efficient processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while leveraging technology.
• Measure and present department performance results to internal and external customers
• Monitor program effectiveness and competition by analyzing trends using company and other industry data. Develop strategies to meet objectives.
• Represent and lead presentations for Yamaha Financial Services, industry, and corporate events both internal and external.
• Analyze Pricing with assistance from FP&A.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business

· 5+ years of commercial lending experience including business development with demonstrated success.

· Advanced skill with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, CRM tools, and workflow tools.

· Ability to travel approximately 25% of time

· Strong leadership track record

· Start-up environment experience a plus

· Strong client facing and communication skills.

· Cross-functional strengths in a matrixed organization

· Strong evaluator of processes with a “build” mindset; able to challenge status quo.
