About the Role

Financial control for a large-scale data center, including CAPEX/OPEX management, Project cost tracking, energy cost tracking, and compliance with Norwegian accounting regulations

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Manage and track CAPEX and OPEX for data center operations and expansion
• Support budgeting and forecasting, including and infrastructure costs
• Assist the financial manager with accounts payable - AP and accounts receivable – AR
• Assist the financial manager with Supplier financial audits and forensic investigations to uncover fraud, such as fictitious invoicing, overbilling, and kickbacks.
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian accounting standards and VAT (MVA) reporting
• Monitor and analyze cost drivers (e.g., power usage, maintenance, vendor spend)
• Provide financial insights to support operational and investment decisions
• Work closely with procurement, project teams and operation
• This role ensures financial control and cost efficiency in a high-investment, energy-intensive data center environment.

How You Will Stand Out

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience in financial controlling, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Power Office, SAP, Oracle, Visma, or equivalent)
• Experience working in industrial, infrastructure and project-based environments
• Familiarity with Norwegian accounting regulations and tax requirements
• Experience in data centers, energy, or construction projects
• Understanding of cost drivers in large scale projects and operations
