We are seeking a talented individual to join our Controllership team. This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan. This is a role that has hybrid working requirement of working in the office at least three days in a week.***Employer of this role will be Marsh Japan, Inc.

Job Posting: Financial Controller for Consulting Business

Reports To: Japan Controller

  • 当社グループにおけるコンサルティング関連法人（マーサー、オリバーワイマン）を担当し、当該法人に関わる会計および税務領域を専門的に担います。
  • Japan Controllerにレポートし、財務・法定・税務報告の品質向上、強固な内部統制の維持、ならびに変革プロジェクトの推進において、関連部門・ステークホルダーと密に連携していただきます。

We will count on you to:（主な業務内容）

  • 日本のコンサルティング関連法人（マーサー、オリバーワイマン）における財務会計業務全般（一般会計、財務報告、地域コントローラシップ向け税務報告を含む）を統括する
  • 法定・税務を含む国内規制／法令および、SOX・内部監査要件を満たすグループのガバナンス／内部統制手続の遵守を徹底する
  • コンサルティング関連法人の法定財務諸表作成を主導し、取りまとめる
  • 年次の法人税申告対応および四半期の繰延税金計算・MMC Taxチームへの報告を行う
  • 会計スタッフをリードし、迅速かつ正確な財務取引処理を実現する（ピープルマネジメントを含む）
  • M&A、財務システム導入、業務改善、業務自動化等のプロジェクトを主体的に推進／支援する

What you need to have:（必須要件）

  • コントローラシップまたは財務領域での実務経験15年以上（多国籍企業での経験が望ましい）、かつマネジメント経験5年以上
  • 会計・財務・経済、または同等分野における学士号
  • ビジネスレベルの英語力
  • 会計および内部統制に関する高い専門性（プロセス改善を推進できること）

  • US GAAPおよび日本基準（JGAAP）の双方に関する経験
  • 税額計算の経験、またはIT領域の知見
